Regular Vacuuming

Vacuum at least once a week, and operate in the direction of the carpet texture. In areas with high foot traffic, increase the frequency of vacuuming appropriately.

Treatment of Local Stains

Remove stains immediately. First, use a vacuum cleaner to suck away the surface dust. If it is a liquid stain, quickly use a dry paper towel or dry cloth to absorb the excess liquid. Then, dip a soft-bristled brush into a mixture of warm water and a neutral detergent, and gently scrub the stained area. Finally, dry it with a dry cloth. If it is an oil stain, first absorb the excess oil, sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch, let it stand, and then suck away the powder. Most stains can be removed with a neutral detergent and a soft-bristled brush.

Cleaning of Large-Area Stains

Vacuum first, and then add a neutral detergent to the clean water tank of the carpet cleaning machine (steam spray extraction integrated machine). Start the machine for scrubbing.

Deep Cleaning

When the carpet is particularly dirty, deep cleaning is required, and it is recommended to do it once every 1 to 2 years. For small areas or areas that are difficult for the machine to reach, clean them manually. The steps are as follows: vacuum first, and then clean with a carpet cleaning machine with a neutral detergent added. In case of stubborn deep stains, the operation can be repeated, and finally, clean it once with clean water using the machine.

Practical Tips

u  Select the appropriate carpet type and color according to the usage area and environment to facilitate later cleaning and maintenance.

u  Place a mud-scraping doormat at the entrance, which can remove about 85% of the dust.

u  Check the rubber pads on the table legs and chair legs to ensure there are no sharp edges to prevent the carpet from being worn.

u  Do not use acetone or wax on Fuyu carpets.
